– Where to activate JR Pass in Tokyo before taking Tokaido Shinkansen: OR ORDERED on 5/15/23 We'll each get a one-week JR Pass from Amnet. We can take most any train as often as we like, including the Shinkansen (Bullet Train). JR Pass Info: https://travelwithamnet.com/jr-pass Only for foreign tourists Must pick up at Amnet office with passport Activate in Japan before first use – Get train by 10 am to Kansai Int'l Airport for 2:20 pm flight. Need to figure out breakfast beforehand. – – Beach Hotel Sunshine allows guests to use the pool and facilities for the rest of the day after check out!! – – We will definitely be getting new eyeglasses while in Japan, probably while we are in Yokohama. Prices are very reasonable, so you might consider getting some if you can find a style you like. The whole process takes about an hour. – – – We will visit Kyoko's family for lunch. Her brother will be coming in from Tokyo. We plan to be back to Kamakura for dinner. – After lunch Kyoko and Mihoko (& maybe Sarah) will go back to Kyoko’s mother’s. Ian will stay in Kamakura. They will have dinner there without us.
